1 Red Onion, cut into chunks
3tbs Patak’s Tikka Masala paste
1 cup yoghurt
1 tin tomatoes
2 tins chickpeas
1 red chilli, sliced thinly
In a frypan fry the onion in oil until it softens. Add in the curry paste and fry until toasted.
Add in the yoghurt and tomatoes with half a tin of water from the tomato tin. Boil, then simmer until the sauce is combined. Add in the chickpeas and cook until warmed through. Add in the chilli then remove from the heat.
Serve the Chickpea Tikka with rice, coriander and papadums.
